How is an Implant Made?
The implant procedure is not complicated. Titanium pieces to be used as tooth roots are placed in the jawbone. Sometimes, the implant is placed in the same session as the tooth extraction. However, in cases such as infection or insufficient bone, the implant can be placed after the extraction. Placement of a single implant usually takes no more than 10 minutes. After the implant is successfully placed, it takes 3 to 6 months for the bone to surround the implant. This period is determined by the dentist based on the area treated, the materials used, and the patient’s condition. After this period, a crown is placed on the implant.
Things to Consider After the Implant Procedure
After the implant procedure, you should follow your doctor’s recommendations. As with other surgical procedures, you should maintain oral hygiene. While minimal pain is felt after a single implant procedure, procedures involving the entire jaw may cause pain, swelling, and bruising for a few days. Light bleeding may also occur in the days following the procedure.
It is important to avoid smoking and foods that may irritate the procedure area.

- How long have you been using the brands you recommend?
- How long have these brands been on the market?
- If I have problems with my implant in the future, can I get it done in another city?Or is there a support office of this brand in the country?
Will My Implants Fall Out?
One frequently asked question is whether implants will eventually fall out or whether they will hold up successfully after surgery. If implants are placed correctly by an experienced surgeon, the probability of them not integrating with the bone is 1-2%. In the long term, with regular maintenance and follow-up, implants can last 20-30 years or more.
