How does the post-operative recovery process proceed?

The first 2-3 days are generally spent under observation in the hospital. Afterward, patients are fed liquids and soft foods. Swelling and pain are particularly intense during the first week but can be controlled with medication. Most patients can return to their daily activities within 2-3 weeks, but complete bone healing and final recovery take approximately six months. Regular checkups are performed during this period.
